Royal Deeside is famed for the aesthetic qualities of its golf courses and our own Loch of Aboyne Golf Course is no exception. Pine woodlands, a tranquil loch, a vista of granite topped mountains: there’s certainly plenty to please the golfer’s eye. Plenty of challenges lie in wait too. A combination of 3, 4 and 5 par holes, tricky roughs and teasing water hazards gives the Loch of Aboyne Golf Course the feel of a championship course.
With its tranquil Royal Deeside setting, convenient links with Aberdeen and its International Airport, and the large variety of entertainments and activities available both on-site and nearby, ‘The Lodge’ is the ideal venue for hosting special events such as family celebrations and corporate events such as seminars and conferences.

Enjoying fine dining on the banks of a tranquil Scottish loch, especially al fresco in the warmer months, should be on the ‘to do’ list of every visitor to the Scottish Highlands. When we designed the Osprey Restaurant we wanted to create an atmospheric space that would allow diners to really savour this unique experience. All- round picture windows, with French doors opening onto the Osprey Deck and loch-side terrace, ensure that wherever our diners are seated, they are sure to enjoy uninterrupted views of the Loch of Aboyne and the Cairngorms National Park beyond.
